A Novel Way to Erase Lines
The latest antiaging facial treatment involves neither a scalpel nor a syringe. New York City cosmetic dentist Irwin Smigel, D.D.S., president of the American Society for Dental Aesthetics, is using porcelain veneers to knock years off his patients' looks. Smigel (smigel.com) applies slightly thicker veneers, which puff out lips (and fill out cheeks) just enough to soften facial lines. Sure beats the cost of (or recovery from) a face-lift!
